Call for Volunteers

Hi All,

This year we have an excellent team of volunteers who are working tirelessly for advancement of the technical communication profession in India and for providing more value to our members in India.

However, we need some more volunteers for some activities. 

Therefore, now you can come forward and make a difference in the field of technical communication by volunteering for STC India. 

 

You will have a great impact as a volunteer. Your presence and influence will be felt and appreciated.

To volunteer for any of the following open positions, you can send an email to admin....@stc-india.org before July 25, 2014:

• Education and Scholarship Manager: Organize education events to inform students about technical communication profession and encourage them to become STC members. Identify suitable students from colleges and universities for awarding scholarship.
  
• Employment Manager: Search for and encourage employers to list their career opportunities in our Job Bank. Conduct employment fairs in different cities by working closely with the city representatives. Assist in conducting technical writing salary surveys.
  
• Membership Manager: Conduct activities and events to encourage and persuade technical writers to become STC members. The Membership Manager has an important role in welcoming new members in our chapter and helping old members in renewing their memberships.
  
• Workshop Manager: Organize at least two professional development workshops in this year.
  

Note: All volunteers must send reports of the events organized by them to admin council.
