Final List of Volunteers: 2013

Dear Friends,

 

Good morning!

 

I am very pleased to announce the final list of volunteers for the STC India Chapter: 2013. See attachment.

 

On behalf of STC India, I would like to appreciate all your help and support. Thank you for volunteering.

 

This year, we have introduced a couple of new things:

 

1. City Representative: For the first time in STC India Chapter's history, we will have an STC India representative in Kolkata. Thus, Kolkata will be a new addition to the STC India chapter's network in India. STC India Chapter plans to create awareness about technical communication and conduct various educational programs, workshops and seminars here. 

 

2. Unlike the earlier years, this year we have decided to decentralize the activities and involve more volunteers to increase collaboration. The objective is also to empower and strengthen the activities at the area/city level for which we will have managers at the area/city level.

 

3. I will be working closely with the managers and their teams with a lot of support from the Admin Council.

 

4. Guidelines for various aspects will be provided to each team to enable their functioning.

 

Finally, please feel free to send us your suggestions and comments. They are always welcome.
