Topic 1: Research and Understanding are Pivotal to Quality Technical Documentation

During this discussion and hands-on session, an experienced Subject Matter Expert will take the participants through the process of understanding the different aspects they need to consider when faced with technical issues. The specific area being looked at is: "How to deliver rich, engaging, and interactive content to resource-constrained devices."

Speakers: This session will be moderated by Susan Alexander and Tharun Unni. Susan and Tharun are both past presidents of the STC India chapter and have 25 and 19 years’ experience in the technical communication field respectively. Both Tharun and Susan have presented at conferences in India and the US. The Subject Matter Expert for the session, Jeetu Narayan, is the co-founder and director of ZenMesh Private Limited. He has 16 years experience in the software industry and has worked in the areas of product management, engineering, and consulting.

Topic 2 : Synopsys and the World of Chips

Bhagyshree will be covering the Synopsys business of providing tools to the chip designs. The tools that fit into the Designers flow – writing the designs to manufacturing the chips.

Speaker: Bhagyashree has been associated with Synopsys ever since she completed her Masters (M.Tech in Computer Science) from NIT, Karnataka. She worked in the R&D division of Synopsys until 2007, w hen she decided to take up documentation.

Currently Bhagyashree manages the documentation team at Bangalore for the Implementation BU. Her hobbies include reading books on Indian philosophy, music, and gardening.
