Intelligence Officer’s Report:

I've received a report back from the Damascus, the Starship which helped rescue the Bajoran slaves who were held with Nero Sada. They also found the DNA of three people: two Bajoran slaves who were unable to escape, and that of Nero Kairn. I confirmed this a few days ago with Ensign Eron and Nero Sada, as well as in a general memo.

This report is to inform you that more information has come to light, and is to be kept to Department Head and above only. After searching the blown out moon that had been the Bajorans’ prison, the crew of the Damascus found more traces of DNA, and pinned down those traces to the person of Beverly Northman. It is currently uncertain how she came to be on the moon, but it is certain that she was there at the time of the explosion, and she is now considered deceased.
