I assume you are looking at SST version 3.0, since we deprecated support for PhoenixSim (version 1) in SST version 3.1. We did this because Columbia is working on Version 2 of PhoenixSim and we have been told that they no longer support version 1 of PhoenixSim. Sandia and Columbia have an active (funded!) relationship to integrate PhoenixSim2 with SST. Other SST components (memory and network) are also part of that research project.
>In this case what is the benefit of using sst?
The intended benefit was the ability to integrate PhoenixSim with other SST components.
>Is it the accuracy of the results?
No.
> or I can use others component from sst and interact them with phoenixsim?
That was the intent, but we are not aware that anyone has ever used or tested PhoenixSim V1.0 with another SST component.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [sst-simulator:693] Hoe can I get benefit from the several components in SST (PhoenixSim case)
Hi all,
I am using phoenixsim simulator and I just discover the sst.
I was wondering if I have to switch and use phoenixsim with sst.
In this case what is the benefit of using sst? Is it the accuracy of the results?
or I can use others component from sst and interact them with phoenixsim?
