Hello everyone,

I am new to SST-gem5. Please bear with me.
I am working on examining/designing cache for multi-node applications (such as httpd/MySQL and Hadoop). My googling bring me to SST-gem5.

I finished SST-gem5 installation following steps in the Wiki.
Now, it can run a very simple simulation and gem5 example. (https://code.google.com/p/sst-simulator/wiki/HowToRunSST)

This is my plan. (Please correct me if I am wrong or SST does not support this)
1. Simulate a few machines with interconnection network.
2. Run Linux on each machines simulated by gem5 (for precise simulation detail)
3. Have each machines run services like httpd, MySQL, and Hadoop. (That's why I think I need to use gem5 FS Mode)

Questions:
1. Does this plan seem possible?
2. Can I use SDL to describe the above system?
3. Do you have a list of tag definition of SDL? (in addition to the example at https://code.google.com/p/sst-simulator/wiki/SDLFileFormat)

Best regards,
Pisacha Srinuan.
