We are pleased to announce the release of version 3.1.1 of the
Structured Simulation Toolkit (SST) micro.
SST 3.1.1 is a point release that extends compatibility of SST 3.1.x
to Mac OS X users running MacPorts and Apple Xcode 5.x. Apple has transitioned
from the GNU compiler to the LLVM compiler as of Xcode 5.x, but SST is not
yet fully compatible with LLVM. In order to address this, SST 3.1.1
can be built with the GNU compiler and tools from MacPorts.

NOTE: THERE IS
NO FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SST 3.1.0 AND SST 3.1.1
except to extend compatibility on MacOS X.

The build instructions have been updated and supplemented with additional
instructions for MacPorts users.
Since it's a wiki, correct any web page errors/omissions you find.
