# ./configure --prefix=$HOME/sst/sst-3.1.0-install --with-boost=$HOME/sst/dependency/boost-1.54 --with-gem5=$HOME/sst/sst-gem5-3.1.0/build/X86_SE/ --with-McPAT=$HOME/sst/sst-3.1.0/deps/src/mcpat --with-hotspot=$HOME/sst/sst-3.1.0/deps/src/hotspot
However an error takes place as:
configure: error: HotSpot requested but could not be linked
But in '$HOME/sst/sst-3.1.0/deps/src/hotspot' there is a libhotspot.so. I and confusing about what happen. What is the right way to configure sst? THX.
We have deprecated our existing support for McPAT and HotSpot in the current release while we work on an updated and more comprehensive energy/power/thermal model capability for SST.
As of right now these tools are unlikely to work with SST even if you can get then configure to find the appropriate libraries.
If you can give us some idea of your use case we may be able to provide alternatives or integrate this into our planning for the next SST release.
Thanks.
S.
