You can visit the Downtown Parking Study webpage now and check back soon for the draft and details on how to share your feedback. | | Building on a Successful Program: Longer Tax Abatements Proposed at State Legislature | | MRA’s Redevelopment Tax Abatement program helps jumpstart transformative projects by freezing property taxes on new development for seven years. Senate Bill 58, now in the New Mexico Legislature, would extend that exemption to 14 years, giving developers more time to complete projects. If passed, the change would apply to new projects beginning in 2026, bringing more investment, housing, and community benefits to Albuquerque’s redevelopment areas. | The Albuquerque Development Commission (ADC) | | |
📅 Next Meeting: Thursday, February 19
