I hope this finds you all doing well as we near the Holiday Season!
Below are a few EMRA reminders I wanted to share. They may be associated with deadlines that are fast approaching, so please be sure to act quickly if you are interested.

(1) EMRA Spring Awards / Scholarships / Grants
Award nominations are due JANUARY 15.
If interested in any of these, read through the application requirements ASAP as they may require letters of recommendation that can take some time to put together.
(2) EMRA Medical Student Council Leadership Positions

Nominations due FEBRUARY 15.
The above link provides descriptions for the many available positions. Feel free to apply for one or multiple positions (simply rank them in order of preference). Current MS1s-MS3s are able to apply. Having held leadership positions in the past is not required as long as your application demonstrates that you can be an asset to the leadership team! And if you applied before and were not selected, please re-apply, as it demonstrates your determination to be involved. We look forward to a great pool of applicants! EMRA would love to have you join our leadership team that supports the specialty we love!
(3) ACEP Medical Student Awards

Nominations due FEBRUARY 10 or APRIL 28 (depending on award).
…same advice for the EMRA awards…get on this ASAP to ensure complete application!
