Hello, lovely RMSS members!

This is Rachel Adelstein, the new Chair of the Religion, Music, and Sound Section of SEM, wishing you a lovely post-MusicCon recovery week.

The major order of business at the moment is to announce the deadlines for the 2022 RMSS Student Paper Prize.  If you are a student, and you presented a paper at the 2022 AMS-SEM-SMT meeting in New Orleans, you are eligible to submit it for consideration for a prize.  Please send a copy of your paper, as you presented it, to rmss...@gmail.com.  The deadline for consideration is:  Sunday, 20 November, 2022.

After the submission deadline has passed, the prize committee will meet to review the submissions and select the winner.
