SEM-RMSS 2022 business meeting; seeking Secretary/Chair-Elect for 2023

Dear Members of the SEM Religion, Music and Sound Section,

You are warmly invited to our upcoming annual business meeting, which will take place during the SEM's annual meeting in New Orleans.  The meeting agenda is attached.  Please put the following reminder on your calendar:  Thursday November 10, 2022, 8:30 pm, New Orleans Hilton Riverside Hotel, room Chart A.

Second, the RMSS is seeking a Secretary/Chair-Elect for the 2023 year.  This role has light duties attached in 2023, but note:  this person will be expected to serve as Chair for the RMSS in 2024.  Scholars at all stages of their careers are welcome to volunteer for this position, so long as they are members of the SEM.  Remember, Secretary/Chair-Elect of the RMSS is a prestigious position to list on your CV!  If you are interested, please send me an email BEFORE Friday November 4, 2022, at hmacla...@udayton.edu
