Dear All,

Like I said before, at any time we do need to at least have like 70 full-time lecturers for a 'proper' subject allocations of the faculty. At present, we do have only 43 full-timers and less than 7 part-timers (as some have had resigned and some have pursued their Ph. D studies). In effect, we are still short of 27 full-time lecturers. This, as a result will seriously impair our academic delivery performance at least on the short-term basis.

We do have 9 lecturers who are now pursuing their Ph. Ds. while the rest are graduate fellows (16 of them) who are also pursuing for the same thing. Some have had been abroad while some are still hunting for places.

Nonetheless, I am more than glad to share the fact that most of our top students from all the programs have decided to join us as graduate fellows. We will groom them right to the fullest so that they can enter those Australian & British top universities for their MScs & Ph. Ds in their field of academic interests.

For this coming interview exercise, I have asked for 10 lectureship slots (that is scheduled to be held on the 3rd of November in KK). On the other hand, there will also be an in-house recruitment drive in Shah Alam and Serdang. The plan is to have the interview before the end of the year. Noraini and Norasekin are working so hard on this really.

For this very reason, I do need all your support to actually spread the news around that we are recruiting at all levels. If they 're not shortlisted in this forthcoming recruitment exercise, we will forward their names to the subsequent exercise.

Many thanks,

Syed
