I never dreamed there was a slightly larger than my old JR 8711 size servo that puts out over 1100 oz of toque. Just incredible. Boy, this radio equipment stuff continue to amaze me.
No more are the 3 ganged servos on rudder of the 3D planes anymore.
Think most everyone are using micro servos now that put out 60 oz of toque and weigh 1/2 oz or so.

I’m sure they are expensive, you’ll have to ask Terry B. He’s installing them in a 75lb 7 cylinder radial war bird plane he’s building for a fellow club member.
 Bet it weighed 5-6 oz

For those who are interested, here is information on a KST servo on eBay:

KST X20-8.4-50 Digital Servo 8.4V 0.15s 45kg.cm 624oz.in Coreless Motor

Brand New   $53.75

Obviously the also work at the 6v level I use in my pattern planes.

Can't imagine anyone needing more than 624 oz/in in a servo!!  Turns out, I have 4 of their teeny little servos, and they work beautifully as throttle servos, and I also used them on Hano in-wing flaps on my Curare.  They seem to be excellent servos.
