We are excited to be joining you all! My apologies for not being able to attend the meeting yesterday, I got stuck in another meeting. We are looking forward to hosting SPA 6 at the market monthly starting on March 31st with Planned Parenthood. Our next available month is June! If there are other resources you would like me to print and share with our patrons at the market on a weekly basis please feel free to forward!

Hello everyone!
Ashley, thanks for writing! I, too, was unable to make the meeting due to illness. Luckily, I’ve spoken to Darrin and, at yesterday’s very productive meeting, the network reaffirmed we’re on board to make the SPA 6 SPN table at the Watts Healthy Farmers’ Market a success!
As Ashley mentioned, Planned Parenthood is hosting the resource table for March on the last Saturday of the month, the 31st. If you would like your agency’s materials to be shared this month, please mail or drop them off to me at PPLA headquarters no later than March 26th. The supplies for the table will be picked up early in the week by those staffing the table hence the earlier date. Our address is 400 W. 30th Street, Los Angeles CA 90007, at the corner of 30th and Grand.
As Darrin mentioned at the meeting, we will use a small box to carry our materials in each month (including a SPA 6 SPN placard – thanks, Milton, for making that happen!) to facilitate an easy process between agencies once it’s time to hand things over after our host date. For this first event, please send/drop off no more than 25 brochures/flyers/etc for your agency. This will be a good month to gauge the community response and the appropriate amount of materials to include next time!
