Hi Nicole.  Let’s schedule the next safe haven group.  We are moving forward quickly and I don’t want the momentum to stop.  Should we do a short evening meeting?  Lunch seems to only work for a few of us.  Next week school starts- can you meet next week, Thursday, 8/18? 

BTW, how’s the translation going?  I’m still looking for someone.  Any news on the stickers and printing?

Do we have a location for the next meeting?  I've started getting the wheels turning on hosting at the SOMA Grand if we need the space. 

Also, did polling for meeting dates help bring in more people?  If so, I can find out what dates are open at the SOMA Grand and poll for those.

I apologize if I am one of the people who has been quiet. I was out of state for 10 days with limited access to email. I am back in town, and while I am disappointed the meeting has moved, I think it is better because we can have an additional week of planning/outreach for it.

Speaking of outreach, wasn't there a few lists from the last meeting, where we put our names to be assigned to different groups that were supposed to get together, or create email chains with or something? Or was that preemptive listing for the upcoming meeting's topic of discussion?

Regardless, let me know if there is anything that needs to get done on the meeting, and I will see what I can do.

Hi Dianne,

 

I've checked with the SOMA Grand, and we can open our commercial space on the first floor for the meeting on the 24th.  I believe we'll be able to provide chairs for the meeting; what else is needed?

 

Unfortunately we have another event on the 18th - we'll either have to hold the Safe Haven Committee meeting in another location or try for another date.

So we are confirming for the 24^th. 5:30.. this shall serve as a reminder as well that the SOMA safety group will meet on the 24^th at SOMA grand.
