Please join us for the annual Silence the Violence Peace March Thursday August 25, 2011. This is a National event that was started right here in the SF Bay Area and will be taking place this year in 15 different cities across the nation including various State
Prisons.
The San Francisco Event will begin at the Victoria
Manalo Draves
Park on Folsom between 6th and 7th streets. We will be meeting at 4pm, marching to City Hall and ending with a short rally on the steps.
Please tune in to KMEL that morning at 8 am to hear a discussion about the event and log on to www.urbanpeacemovement.org to sign the Silence the Violence Pledge.
