The monthly Police Community meeting will be held at Room 551 at 850 Bryant Street (Hall of Justice) from 6-7:30 pm.

 

If you have questions or anything that you want to talk to about with our Southern Police Station Captain, please feel free to come,

Would also appreciate clarification on the larger SOMA Community meeting re: crime concerns – is it still on for Thursday, 8/18? I am also unclear on the location – I have seen reference to The Old Mint Building, 88 5th St. and also discussion about space at SOMA Grand.

The Community meeting is on the 24th at Soma Grand, 5:30-7:00 as always. We’ve had to move it because we didn’t hear from anyone that day.

I will put in another request for an officer to come to give us an update on how things are.

Also updates on the group efforts will be given (safe haven, lighting, etc)

This Thursday, August 18th, there is a Community Exchange Networking Event at the Old Mint Building, but it has nothing to do with safety- it's more just a neighborhood meet and greet being hosted by the South of Market Business Association (for which I am a Volunteer Board Member). It is open to everyone. You can find more information here:
