A good idea from Down Under. I fear it's way too sensible a proposal to make it through a Repugnican-controlled House of
Representatives and/or the TV broadcaster-dominated FCC here in the US of A.

1. A technology that claims to increase bandwidth by six times over the same spectrum sounds a little too good to be true, doesn't it?

2. Look at the roomful of equipment that this technology requires. That doesn't look too cost-effective does it?

3. The Repugnican-controlled House of Representatives and the FCC would not need to approve this technology before it could be used in TV White Spaces. The technology would simply need to be scaled down to fit into a 6-MHz wide available U.S. channel and comply with the FCC's current wireless rules.
