This might work at The Coffee Gallery Backstage at 2029 N. Lake Ave.,
Altadena, CA 91001 - it has free wifi and the Backstage hosts shows
with a maximum audience of 50. The room has a bunch of chairs and a
number of small tables for patrons' food and drink. While they have
shows in the evenings, it is often available in the mornings and
afternoons.
Contact Bob Stane to make arrangements - I suspect that he would
embrace the effort. His email address is
bst...@earthlink.net.
The only potential snafu is if he has a matinee already scheduled. We
might have to drag some additional tables into the room for the laptops
and some extension cords would be needed to supply power to a bunch of
laptops too.
