Greetings all:
Today we had the folks from L & S Enterprises climb the tower and they
inspected and made repairs to the antenna system for our 146.775
repeater. They repeair and weather proofed
the jumpers and tested the system and made necessary improvements and
the system is running the best it has in years. Thanks to L & S for
their professional service and also a special thanks goes to Art,
W4ZEF, for giving his time to be at the site to observe and assist the
tower crew. This afternoon I put the CAT controller back on line and
everything appears to be working fine. There is some tweaking that may
need to be done but definate progress has been made. Please use and
test out the repeater and let us know your thoughts and results.
The weather station is working as well as the weather alert radio. At
the top of the hour you will hear the current weather conditons at the
repeater site. I installed a donated Davis Weather shelter for the
temperature sensor so the temperature readings should be more acurate.
You may also now try out and use the following keypad functions:
535 repeater information
545 current time
535 touch tone test
565* 7 second audio test
445 current weather conditions at the repeater site
440 weather radio on (listen)
441 weather radio off (standby)

Echolink has also been running on the repeater. I am experiencing
issues with the current
computer and I am in the process of setting up a replacement computer
for this purpose and I hope to have it on line in a couple of days. At
that time I will send out the keypad commands
for accessing some of the popular echolink functions.

Use and enjoy the repeater and please pass the word that the 146.775
repeater is back.and
let us know what you think.
