FIRST Robotics Silicon Valley Regional

Tournament
is next week!

And we still need at least 20 more volunteers.  Can you help?  Volunteers needed for the FIRST Robotics Silicon Valley regional competition

at SJSU April 2-4th (especially on Thursday and Friday). It's a great opportunity to network with other technical folks and help a great STEM cause!  We need volunteers of all ages and talents to run the competition - robot inspectors, safety inspectors, crowd control, setup, check-in, etc. Please go to the website and complete a profile so we can assign you to a volunteer position. Make ABSOLUTELY sure you list Silicon Valley Regional competition as your chosen event or we can't see your profile. Please sign up now! Forward this to anyone interested- whatever their background - college students, retired, anyone who can help. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old.
Spectators are also welcome to attend at no charge! Sign up here:
https://my.usfirst.org/FIRSTPortal/Login/VIMS_Login.aspx  (If you start to go through the screening and it says you need a code or need to pay, the code is "takfx98")

LOCATION:  San Jose State University Event Center, 290 South 7th Street, San Jose, CA 95192

The public schedule for the event can be found here:
