Elections and the End of Year Plans.

Hi Chess Club,

We are planning to have a normal meeting next week on the 1st and then
on the 8th (the first day of midterms), we are going to have
elections. We are currently rethinking the positions so there will
only be 3 next year. If you are not present, you cannot vote or run
(no exceptions). The new positions will be President, Vice
President, and Treasurer/Secretary (one position). We will also make
a new system
based on checks and balances, in which all officers have at least 4
specific responsibilities and are forced to do their work. We will
send out the e-mail with the list of responsibilities after this
one.

All candidates on the 8th will make a speech the day of the elections,
so be ready for that.
