Hoped you all enjoyed the Christmas Gala and Christmas Spoken Here as much as we enjoyed hosting you!
This email reminder is to join us for our monthly kids and parents sharing time, Second Saturday!
What: Second Saturday, a fun time to learn new things about nature with your child (ages 6-and up)
When: THIS SATURDAY- December 12th from 9am to 12 noon
Where: The Garden
Cost: $5 for members, $8 for non-members
This month's Second Saturday is "Hooked on Hummingbirds"
Have you ever been Dive-bombed by a tiny Jewel Colored Bird? Why are these birds called Hummingbirds?
What kinds of Hummingbirds live on our island?
What do Hummingbirds eat? Are Hummingbirds helpful in our gardens?
Come to this workshop to find out the answers to these questions and create a flower a hummingbird would love!
Also participants will build their own take-home hummingbird feeders!
Reservations are Required: Please call 692-2874 to reserve your space now!
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Come by and share the fun of learning with your child!
