| Celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Roswell Incident with SGRA as we host a Coffee Talk discussion on Wednesday in Orange and a multimedia program on Thursday in Torrington.
First, on Wednesday at 7pm at the McDonlands in Orange we’ll be hosting our last Coffee Talk of July by opening up the table to discussing theories and thoughts about what actually crashed in Roswell in 1947. As always, Coffee Talk is open to anyone interested. The following evening on Thursday at 6:00pm in Torrington we will be presenting a multimedia program on Roswell, including a look at the top three leading theories about what happened that night, and sorting out the facts from the conjecture.
| We also have two more Community Skywatch programs in July, one this Tuesday, July 24th at the Scranton Library in Madison, CT, and then next Monday, July 30, at the Case Memorial Library in Orange. During both of these programs our Field Team will demonstrate equipment used to detect and identify objects in the night sky such as satellites, aircraft, or atmospheric anomalies. Our aim is to make participants “knowledgeable observers” who can better figure out what they are seeing, and what in the sky may actually be unexplained! Both library programs begin at 7:00pm, and we will be scheduling additional Skywatch events in August.
