One of the things that the Ephrata training center could use is a spare handheld VHF (or two) for working the flight line, particularly for our junior ground crew who don’t yet own their own, but who have been so awesomely helpful at events like the Dust Up, R8, the XC encampment, etc.

Someone kindly left behind an Icom A14 after R8. (There is some kind of name scratched on the side, but practically illegible for a couple sets of eyes who looked at it.) I bought a matching charger base on Amazon, and now SGC has a loaner VHF!

Thank you for the donation and for supporting our operations, Alex!
(and whomever left the Icom at the facility) :-)

(If this is your personal radio, perhaps you’ll consider fugett’in about it by the time next year’s R8 comes around. But of course it’s still yours if claimed.)

Hi Alex,

The radio belongs to Ron Bellamy and he does want it back.

Hi Alex,

If you can find a used handheld for sale, I'll buy it for the SGC. Just tell me how much and I can send a check.

I've got a surplus Icom A25C (with charging base) you guys can have. I could give it to Noel next time I see him.

Chris and Alex, thanks finding my handheld. I was using it during R8 and have gone crazy trying to find it.
Ron.
