Help Needed and Conference Update

Dear Friends,

Thank you to all of those who participated in and helped with the 2nd Annual SFLI Conference.  It was a great success!  I will be sending a more detailed update soon. 

Now on to something more urgent.  I received this from a friend and wanted to pass it along to see if you or anyone you know could help.

"Hello all,

My mother works at a high school in Berwyn, Illinois in a district where most of the student population lives below the poverty line. She has recently come to know a 15 year old girl with a four month old baby boy in desperate need of some help. She was kicked out of her abusive home when her father found out she was pregnant, and has been living between a couple of different places for the last few months, but as of this week has no where to go. My mother and the social worker at the school have been trying to find her a place, but haven't had any luck yet. I was hoping some of you, or anyone else in the Chicago area that you know, could help her out. If nothing else, she and her son could really use your prayers."
