You are invited to join us at the monthly meeting of the Science Fiction Association of Bergen County on Saturday, December 9, 2023. We'll be at the Bergen Highlands United Methodist Church, 318 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey at 8:00 PM. Science fiction writer Jonathan Nevair will speak and answer questions.
Pre-Meeting Event: Pot Luck Christmas Cafe:
Our December meeting will feature a 7:00 PM pot-luck Christmas Cafe as we have done the past two years. The club will furnish coffee, tea, and milk. Desserts (cakes, cookies, pastries, pies, etc.) will be provided by those attending.
Jonathan Nevair, Science Fiction Author / Art Historian:
Jonathan Nevair is the pen name of an art historian and college professor. He is the author of the character-driven Wind Tide space opera trilogy: GOODBYE TO THE SUN, JATI'S WAGER, and NO SONG, BUT SILENCE, and the Agent Renault spy-fi adventures: TO SPY A STAR and STELLAR INSTINCT.

ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION:
Meetings of the Association are normally held on the second Saturday of the month and feature talks, slide shows, and other presentations by experts in science fiction, fantasy, and related fields. The Association sponsors online Google and FaceBook discussion groups and a number of in-person and online activities devoted to various aspects of science fiction and similar matters, including events focused on books, movies, television, science, and similar areas of interest. We also produce a monthly newsletter listing talks, conventions, discussion groups, and other activities pertaining to science fiction and kindred genres.
