You are invited to join us at the monthly meeting of the Science Fiction Association of Bergen County on Saturday, November 12, 2022. We'll be at the Bergen Highlands United Methodist Church, 318 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey 07458 at 8:00 PM will be held at Barnes & Noble in Paramus, New Jersey at 8:00 PM. Science fiction author Brian Trent will speak and answer questions.
Pre Meeting Event: Ice Nine Discussion:
Early arrivals are welcome to help themselves to the free books and join our 6:30 PM Ice Nine Discussion of the Coolest News & Happenings in the worlds of science fiction, fantasy, and related areas. Come talk about books, movies, television, comic books, and so on, whether old, new, famous, or obscure.
Brian Trent, Science Fiction Author:
Brian Trent is the author of two science fiction novels, TEN THOUSAND THUNDERS and REDSPACE RISING, two works set in the far future of our solar system which incorporate elements of military science fiction and cyberpunk. His dozens of shorter works have appeared in F&SF, ANALOG, GALAXY's EDGE, and other magazines, podcasts, and original anthologies.

ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION:
Meetings of the Association are normally held on the second Saturday of the month and feature talks, slide shows, and other presentations by experts in science fiction, fantasy, and related fields. The Association sponsors online Google and FaceBook discussion groups and a number of in-person and online activities devoted to various aspects of science fiction and similar matters, including events focused on books, movies, television, science, and similar areas of interest. We also produce a monthly newsletter listing talks, conventions, discussion groups, and other activities pertaining to science fiction and kindred genres.
