You are invited to join us at the monthly meeting of the Science Fiction Association of Bergen County General Meeting on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The event will be conducted through zoom video conference at 7:30 PM. Science fiction writer Larry Niven will speak and answer questions.
Larry Niven, Science Fiction Author:
Larry Niven is best known for his novel, RINGWORLD, the capstone of his Known Space Future History series. That novel and four shorter pieces (Neutron Star, Inconstant Moon, The Hole Man, and The Borderland of Sol) have won the Hugo Award. He has also written tales of alien invasions, space opera, cometery disasters, and a few works of fantasy. His stories have been adapted for THE OUTER LIMITS and for STAR TREK: THE ANIMATED SERIES.

ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION:
Meetings of the Association are normally held on the second Saturday of the month and feature talks, slide shows, and other presentations by experts in science fiction, fantasy, and related fields. The Association sponsors online Google and FaceBook discussion groups and a number of in-person and online activities devoted to various aspects of science fiction and similar matters, including events focused on books, movies, television, science, and similar areas of interest. We also produce a monthly newsletter listing talks, conventions, discussion groups, and other activities pertaining to science fiction and kindred genres.
