Clown Conservatory Documentary Series

Hello all,

About 3 1/2 years ago I won an awesome foundation grant to make a documentary on the Clown Conservatory, a now-closed program for training professional theatrical or circus clowns at the San Francisco Circus Center. Over the next few years, I recorded about 30 hours worth of footage raw footage. Today when backing up the footage all my working files became corrupted and irrevocably lost.

That said I had the first episode of the series online and since I can't iterate on it any further I am releasing it now. I still have the raw footage from the interview and will release more episodes as time allows, but please enjoy the first episode of "Conversations from the Clown Conservatory". It's a little lacking in b-roll, which is the stage of editing I was on when the files got eaten, but the message and the content are there.
