You're invited to the Midwinter Magick Festival, a choose-your-own adventure through the streets of San Francisco, during the night of the winter solstice, December 20-21.

Ooh yes!

I was riding to Golden Gate Park. It was dark. I was alone. It was my birthday. It was solstice.

As I entered the Panhandle bike path, I saw half a dozen others rolling in—an odd sight for times after dark. Some were dressed all in red, some in white. Coincidentally, I was wearing red. Stopping at the Masonic light, I asked someone, “Is there an event going on?”

Suffice to say, yes, there was. I ended up staying out until the wee hours, riding and walking all over with amazing people, seeing amazing experiments, being in amazing experiments, meeting amazing folks.

The Midwinter Magick Festival is the continuation of that event last year. Are we planning to wear something this year, Sylvia?
