Reminder - Application Deadline approaching for the Slow Food Spokane River Scholarship to Quillisascut

Just a reminder of this great opportunity!

Slow Food Spokane River would like to announce an opportunity for a young adult scholarship to the Farm Culinary 101 Workshop at Quillisascut Farm School of the Domestic Arts from August 23^rd-29^th or Sept. 11^th-17th. Our convivium invites your participation in helping us connect with youth ages 18-29 in the Spokane region who may be interested in applying.  The scholarship includes course materials, and instruction, farm tours, food and lodging (transportation not included.)

Attached is the application form which is due by June 15^th (see addresses on the application.)   The recipient of the scholarship will be asked to share their experience at Quillisascut with our convivium after they return and may also be asked to participate in some of our future events.  

Thank you for your interest in helping our youth rethink their connections with food, the land and their communities through this valuable workshop experience.
