And the Grande Ronde makes for a beautiful float this time of year.  The wildflowers, birds, wildlife and green scenery are spectacular.  Nothing better than watching bighorn sheep kids cavorting on the hillside while drinking the morning cuppa Joe.  Personally, I can't wait!!!

Dear Sam,

Grande Ronde Video ClipJoin Save Our Wild Salmon, Sundog Expeditions and Brock Evans for an unforgettable five-day adventure on the beautiful Grande Ronde River - May 22-26, 2011

More about the Grande Ronde trip here.
Check out the video from Sun Dog!

River veterans and beginners alike will enjoy this adventure. This trip is even more special because longtime river and wildlands defender Brock Evans will be joining us!

Currently president of the national Endangered Species Coalition, Brock was instrumental in stopping additional dams on the Snake River in the 1960s and 70s. Brock inspires audiences with his knowledge and history of the conservation movement, and will share his stories around the campfire.

SOS staff and others on the trip will share their knowledge of the science, politics and history of the effort to restore the lower Snake River.

Join us for this once in a lifetime trip. The cost is $1150 per person. Part of the proceeds go to the work of Save Our Wild Salmon.

To sign up or for more information contact Sundog Expeditions at 888-455-5077 or go to Sun Dog Expeditions online.

Thanks - see you on the river!

-Sam
