Subject: Research on EV Adoption in the U.S.

Good Day Mr. Johnsen,
My name is Tony Smith and I'm a member of the Electric Vehicle Association - Western NY Chapter. I'm also a doctoral candidate at Temple University studying Plug-In Electric Vehicle Adoption in the United States. I'm looking to understand how public policy and customer value influenced the decision to purchase or lease an EV. Although I'm seeking input from EV owners throughout the US, Washington is one of the nine jurisdictions I am putting a lot of focus on due to its high adoption rate from 2021-2025 compared to the rest of the U.S. If you would please consider sharing my survey link with your community, it would be a great help. The survey is anonymous, should take less than 10 minutes to complete, and I will be collecting data through the end of February 2026. If you have any questions or would like me to share my current findings with your team, I would be more than happy to do so at any of your monthly meetings, before or even after I complete my dissertation in April.
I am aware of survey burnout (been at this for three years now), so I am sensitive to the situation. Again, any consideration would be of help.
Regards,
Anthony J. Smith
