[SEVA] Electrical/Software Engineer for Conversion

Howdy SEVA,

We are looking for a local engineer to help with the design of our next Narwhal prototype. For those not familiar with Blue Dot, we have developed a family of vehicle-agnostic plug-in hybrid conversion kits, starting with the Narwhal (for pickups, vans, and SUVs). Being mass-producible will enable a dramatically lower price. Being installable by any mechanic in one day (with a bit of online training) will allow us to reach a scale that can have meaningful global impact.

We have built road-going prototypes that prove the feasibility and practicality of our core system architecture. We need someone who can architect, design, build, and test the control and communication system for our "Alpha" prototype. We have all the normal motor control needs, plus a user interface, automated control of auxiliary systems, and some advanced control schemes like rev-matching. Familiarity with CAN and automotive industry controls is a huge plus.

We are flexible in how we engage (part time to full time) and compensate, with cash, deferred cash, and equity all on the table.
