SETEG update

To Current and Prospective Members of SETEG:


Greetings! I hope you've all had a wonderful summer and are ready for
what will prove to be a promising year. My name is Brittany Chappelle
and I will be taking over for the previous membership coordinator,
Katherine Lott. I look forward to working and communicating with all
of you at some point throughout this term. The purpose of this letter
is to update you on the agenda of SETEG.


Currently, we are preparing the next SETEG newsletter and are looking
for submissions. Got a traveling exhibit story to tell? Some ideas?
Strategies? News? If you have anything at all you would like to
contribute please send us a one-page, double spaced article for
inclusion in the upcoming newsletter.


Also, due to the fact that a large volume of museums are unable to
access Facebook at work, it will serve minimal purpose to us this
term. We have instead opted to handle all SETEG business through the
SETEG group on Google Groups. We have found that the Google Group is
more professional and user-friendly, which is beneficial to all.


To access the Google Group, visit http://groups.google.com/group/SETEG.
On the right-hand side of the screen, click 'Join this group' to join
and gain access to the group page. If you do not have a Google
account, you will need to create one prior to joining the group. For
those of you who have not done so, please provide your contact
information and a little about your role in traveling exhibitions in
the “Introduce Yourself” link on the main page.
