SETEG update

[McKissick Museum]

Hello all!

Sorry it has taken some time for me to post anything on the group
page. I started my new job as Exhibitions Director/Curator at the
Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory in Louisville, KY on October
20th. I was thrust into an exhibit installation, major annual event
and an auction within my first few weeks!

I wanted to update everyone and let them know that I will be hosting a
session on traveling exhibitions at the AAM conference in Houston this
year with Zinnia Willits of the Gibbes Museum of Art and Ed Liskey
from SITES. The session title is "There and Back Again: New and
Creative Ways for Small Museums to Host and Produce Traveling
Exhibitions." If anyone is planning to go to AAM this year, please be
sure to attend the session and come say hello!

Please let us know how things are going with your traveling
exhibitions. Do you have any you are trying to market? Success
stories? Nightmares? Feel free to share them here with your
colleagues!
