Hello,
In 2004 I got involved in the key list, just because the list was so
obselate and nobody cared about updating it. I proposed to contact
personnally all persons listed, two members of of Servas Belgium & Lux
worked with me, one of them was Jérôme Le Tourneur, telecom engineer (he is
French but moved to Belgium at that time)
When Dolphin has been created I was invited to collaborate. However key
persons went on contacting ICT and not Dolphin and so it was useful at trhat
time to maintain it.
At present there is no reason to keep this 'group'. Jérôme is still member
of Servas but not involved in Dolphin or ICT matters.
By the way
1. I think the key list is up to date, at least data of National
Secretaries.
Ann Greenhough, vicepresident, has sent her newsletter (12/11) as far as I
know to the complete key list and 'only' 5 mails have bounced.
In the meantime the 5 addresses are updated.(one deputy, one peace sec, two
youth contacts, one treasurer)
It's important that the Dolphin team is informed about wrong email
addresses, only in this case we can try to find the correct one via other
key people or via another channel.
2. As far as I know the SI General Secretary is responsible for the Key list
and not the SI Host List coordinator
Maybe Michael and Mark are sleeping now :-)
Ciao,
Rita

The ICT group is defunct.
Jerome's name was on the list before I became involved. There is no activity
in the group and he has never responded to any email sent out to ICT so I
have no idea as to who he is.
Clearly Rita is very active and responsive with respect to matters involving
dolphin. While dolphin is still in use and plays an important role in Servas
International operations, there are other less formal channels of
communication between Mark and I, as ICT-Tech Team Members, and Rita.
I see no reason, at present, for maintaining ICT which really just a list of
names. You can look at this as streamlining Servas International. ;-)
That's my 2 cents worth...
Cheers,
Michael
