Dear Ana,
I understand that the situation inside parts of Servas Argentina is deteriorating. I'm sad to hear about this, especially since Servas Argentina through history has offered so much to the Servas movement, for example by arranging SIGA2009 among many other things.
The process of Conflict Resolution will start shortly, and when it does I have to ask you for one important thing:
all your communication with the Servas International Conflict Resolution Committee (SI CRC) must be performed with secrecy and only between you, your parties in Argentina and the three members of SI CRC (Julie, Clare and Marneo). None of the representatives of SI Exco, including myselft, cannot - and should not - be involved in this process which is performed solely by SI CRC. SI CRC is independent and autonomous from SI Exco to guarantee it's maximum integrety and trustworthyness in the eyes of the Servas International membership and the world in general.
I hope you understand why I have to have this attitude towards you as long as SI CRC' is investigating the conflict inside Servas Argentina.
Having said that, I want to emphasize that you are still a person that I highly respect and like a lot. Please trust that this is my honest and sincere appreciation of you.
I will continue to support you personally in your personal life and regarding Servas Argentina, I will for example continue to keep in contact with the Argentinian Consulate in Stockholm, if that proves to help Servas Argentina in its efforts to get a more solid registration as an non governmental organisation.
But I cannot be directly involved in the resolution of the conflict inside Servas Argentina. It's now in the hands of SI CRC. They may consult me and others in Exco, but that dialoge will have to be between them and me, unless SI CRC ask for a different set up.
It's my sincere hope that you respect and understand this attitude of mine.
I will inform the rest of Exco about the content of this message.
All the best,
Jonny
