Need your help for 11/16 SEL4MA virtual showcase

Hi, SEL4MA Board, Steering Committee, and Event Committee.
As you probably know, our next SEL4MA virtual conference is coming up in just a little over a week, on Tuesday, November 16, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
The SEL Resource Showcase is our biggest event of the year—and we need your help to make sure it’s another success!
This is an “all hands on deck” moment for SEL4MA. Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours to spare between now and the end of the showcase, we need you.
Here are some ways that you can help:
Register for the showcase
If you think you might be able to make it to any part of the day, please go ahead and register right now.
Spread the word
Let friends, colleagues, committee members, students, acquaintances, your social media followers, and anyone else in your networks know about the showcase. Forward along any of the email blasts you've received about the showcase. We’ll also be promoting the showcase on SEL4MA social media soon, where it would be great for everyone to like, share, and comment.
I’ll be sending along a text version of the announcement to all of you by sometime tomorrow that you can forward to people who might find our jazzy email blasts get stuck in spam or promotions folders.
Help confirm our final speakers
I’m working to confirm our final plenary speakers on social and emotional supports for students, staff, and families in this next phase of the twin pandemics of COVID and racism and on funding sources for SEL. I’d would love some additional thought partners to help me figure this out.
Help out of the day of the event
We’ll need a number of people on the day of the virtual showcase to help introduce the breakout sessions, staff a virtual exhibit booth shift, answer basic questions from participants in the chat, provide technical support, and help behind the scenes in other ways. Email Joy at joy.bett...@gmail.com if you’re up for being a breakout room host, staffing the exhibit booth, or helping in the chat. I’m the contact for the tech support and other behind the scenes work.
