Mitch and Nova,
All I can say is WOW. The SAM event at the Massachusetts State House last week went above and beyond my wildest expectations. The sheer number of participants, the quality of the presentations, the absolute brilliance of your choice of location...it was all just amazing and wonderful. You two are to be congratulated for your audacious vision, tenacity, and sheer elbow grease. Several of us commented that the event also served to reconnect program providers, which I found super helpful as well (e.g., I love how ESR has rebranded and is focusing on teacher development).
I’m copying in Roger Weissberg and Linda Dusenbury at CASEL (Linda is focusing on state policy work)...I am sure they have already heard the news about what a fantastic event this was, but I want them to hear it from me as well.
