Subject: {SWD} Directed Group Sales - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Dear Seaweedians. We may have an opportunity to participate in the Directed Group Sale, again, this year. This is our opportunity to acquire a significant quantity of tickets to help cover admission for Seaweed participants to Burning Man 2016. For this process, we need to identify 5-10 people who will be able to purchase up to 2 admission tickets and 1 vehicle pass in the Directed Group Sale. There are a few qualifications to be met before you can join this sale, and I need to have each person who participates identified before the sale starts. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COMMIT TO GOING TO BURNING MAN 2016 IN ORDER TO HELP OUT SEAWEED, HERE. We need people who are willing and able to buy tickets. Seaweed will purchase any unused tickets you may acquire. As of today, these are $390 tickets and $80 vehicle passes. With taxes and fees a purchase of 2 tickets and 1 vehicle pass will total close to $1000.

If you fit all of the following qualifications, please let me (Howard "Reddick" Boyd) know.

1. Registered as a Burning Man participant on the Burner Profile (or can register there ASAP).

2. Have an account with Ticketfly, the ticketing agent for Burning Man.

3. Have a credit card with at least $1,000 usable credit available (VISA or MasterCard only).

4. Are a member in good standing with Seaweed, and are planning on helping with this year's project.

5. Are available on Wednesday March 9, 2016, 12:00 noon to log into your Burner Profile and Ticketfly accounts and participate in the sale.

If you fit all of these requirements, and are chosen to represent Seaweed in the Directed Group Sale, you are agreeing to the following:

1. You will purchase the entire allowed quantity of tickets and vehicle passes, whether or not you plan to use them yourself.

2. You will have first option to use the tickets you buy in the Directed Group Sale for yourself, as long as you are an active participant in the 2016 Seaweed Project.

3. If you are not going to use the tickets/vehicle pass for yourself, or if you choose not to participate in the 2016 Seaweed Project, you will sell them to Seaweed at face value, plus fees.

4. You will provide contact information (including your Real Name, Burner Name, Burner Profile email address and phone number) to Howard Boyd prior to the registration deadline of Thursday February 25, 2016.

Please read this document carefully, and if you have any questions, please ask soon. Last year we missed out on the opportunity to get some tickets because some people identified to participate did not adequately understand the importance of this level of participation.
