Our website

If you access our website via Firefox, Google search, or Internet Explorer 8, you may know that it experienced some security issues in the past week. We apologize for this. Those of us who access the site with Internet Explorer 7 or older may not have noticed anything different. We hired a consultant to look into this issue, and they have resolved it.

Casting call for people to appear in our cycling training video

Okay kid, so ya wanna be in pictures ...
     
We need cyclists to appear in a cycling training video we are doing with the Manitoba Cycling Association, the Province, and Manitoba Public Insurance. Please send us your e-mail address, phone number, and general availability (weekend, daytime, evening).
     
Each bit only requires an hour or two, and one or two people -- most of the time. It's often a real hurry up and wait affair, and not everybody enjoys it, but our professional cameraman and director will try to make it fun for everyone.
     
The next session will be this coming weekend: June 19th/20th.
     
And you'll be up on the big screen. Maybe this will be your big break ...

Winnipeg Bicycle Valet, a project of Bike to the Future, is currently accepting applications for four volunteer positions:

• Sponsorship Coordinator
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Graphics and Website Coordinator
• Communication and Media Coordinator

Bike to Work Day -- please register, please volunteer

June 25th is Winnipeg's 3rd annual Bike to Work Day. On this day we invite and encourage Winnipeggers to ride their bikes to work, be part of their community, and be involved in the growing trend of active transportation.

Many volunteers are still needed for a very wide range of tasks at various locations in the city, including working at The Forks pancake breakfast, staffing the 5 Bike Oases, leading the group rides from each Bike Oases towards Downtown, ...
