$20 million of new active transportation infrastructure for 2010
The City of Winnipeg has created an Active Transportation Blog to capture public input. Formal public consultations will begin in late January. It is vital that the City receives as much public input as possible. We are being assured the input will be 'heard'. As public consultation sessions are announced, they will be posted under Upcoming Events on our website, and communicated via our e-mail newsletters.

BttF's Sponsorship Position Statement
As discussed at our December Monthly Meeting, Bike to the Future has drafted a Sponsorship Position Statement that we are posting here for further discussion. We'll approve it (or an amended version of it) at our January Monthly Meeting.

BttF's review of the provincial Highway Traffic Act
Our Provincial Committee has formed a task force whose mission is to do a systematic review of the provincial Highway Traffic Act (HTA). Our goal is to make cycling a more attractive transportation alternative.
