Wednesday Classes

New term of salsa classes on Wednesday evenings commencing 14^th May at Orwell Terrace, Edinburgh (just off Dalry Rd).

 Wednesday evening courses starting 14^th May 2008 at St Bride's Centre, 10 Orwell Terrace with Lloyd and Jennifer

18:30 - 19:30 Beginners

19:30 - 20:30 Improvers 1

19:30 - 21:00 Improvers 2

         

       5 weeks -  £23 for 1 hour classes

                     £30 for 1½ hour classes

the Improvers level at this class has become very popular (especially with new leaders arriving) and there will be a need to limit numbers soon - so unless you are already a regular who is, make sure you get a place okay 

Monday Classes

We also have a waiting list for Monday evening beginners classes at 28 York Place. If Monday suits you better please let us know so we can add you to waiting list which is building up quickly (11 on it now!!)- we'll be setting a start date soon as this rate

While this list builds the Monday Class schedule looks like this:

          18:45 - 19:45 - On1 Improvers 1

         18:45 - 20:15 - On1 Improvers 2

         20:15 - 21:15 - On2 Improvers/Intermediate

         21:15 - 22:15 - On1 Intermediate/Advanced

         22:15 - 23:00 - Social dancing

 

There will be no difference in level initially for the Improvers 1 and 2 - Improvers 2 will simply be an optional extra 30 mins to allow partipants more dance practise, and perhaps to play with variation on the techniques taught during the previous hour. N.B. There is no problem doing only Improvers 1.

The On2 Improvers/Intermediate will provide an opportunity for all levels to learn On2 (New York mambo) timing. For the first week or two the level will be improvers mainly to allow everyone to get the On2 timing. Thereafter we will spilt the class into Improvers for 30 mins then Intermediate for 30 mins. We hope thenthere will be the opportunity for most folk to do the usual 90 minute class they are used to. Some will want to attend for two hours hence the extra price level below. This is a TEMPORARY schedule while we recruit beginners and they are coming in fast so MAKE the MOST of it.

 

Price of each class £5/£4 concession per hour

                      £7/£6 concession per 1½ hours

                      £8.50/£7 concession per 2 hours
