Salsa Lounge, New class schedule and Mambolloyd Group

Salsa Lounge is this Sunday at 28 YorkPlace (July 5th) - the next one won't be until October so please try to make it along and make the night another success.
Everyone is welcome to this social which we have been hosting for around 7 years now.
For those that are new to salsa, this is a great opportunity to get out and put your learning into practise in a not too intimidating environment. Its the best way to improve and see what its about. Salsa Lounge regularly gets great praise. Check out the web page above with has more info and a map to find 28 York Place .
Workshop this month will be Cha Cha Cha for all levels - everyone welcome.
19:00-20:00 Chachacha for all levels (£5 including entry to club)
20:00-23:00 Social Dancing for all levels (minimum contribution £3)
New class schedule
The Wednesday classes are now on a summer break - back on September 23rd.
The Monday classes at 28 work place will run throughout July then they will have a break during the festival - back Septeber 21st. During July we are changing the schedule and due to pouplar demand run an ON2 class, The new schedule is#;
19:00-20:00 On1 Improvers
20:00-21:00 On2 Improvers/Intermediate
21:00-22:00 On1 Intermediate/Advanced
The On1 classes levels will be as they have been for the last few months, however the Improvers level may drop a bit to allow the beginners who are moving up to adapt to the higher level.
The On2 class will cover timing, and some explanations and theory about the music, We'll be keeping the routines relatively simple as we want people to get as much dancing On2 done as possible. The 1st half will be aimed at Improvers level so they can get some experience of On2. The level will increase in the 2nd half and though the level will be slightly lower, it will be aimed at those who have been doing our Improvers/Intermediate crossover class. We rarely have On2 classes in Edinburgh, so make the most of this opportunity.
Mambolloyd Group in Facebook
Following requests for a chat forum for students I've set a group up in Facebook. It is to be used for all things salsa, to post information about events and for people to arrange nights out etc which isn't always easy for those who don't go out regularly. I've also been loading up so good dance clips for your pleasure. There hasn't been much chat so far but we have over 104 members and growing.
