End of term...Son & Cumbia

Hi everyone, Cuba Cultura Scotland are coming to the end of our
“Summer term” of classes and workshops. Next Wednesday our short
series of Son classes officially finishes (although see below if you
are desperate for more!). Please do come along at:

7pm if you’ve done a little bit of Son before and want to learn how to
dance in hold.

8pm if you can move around the dance floor quite confidently but want
to improve your styling and learn some new moves.

£6 for 1 hour, £10 for 2.

We round off with a reprise of the Cumbia workshop on Sunday 5th July.
Lily will join Alejandro to teach you the basic steps and lead you
through a short routine. Don’t forget to check out Alejandro and Lily

£10 for 2 hours (£5 for children under 16 accompanied by an adult)

Both classes are at the Columcille Centre, 2 Newbattle Terrace,
Morningside (just next door to the Dominion Cinema).

A few folk have expressed an interest in continuing the Son classes on
a week by week basis and are prepared to pay a little more to cover
our costs as suggested in our last update. If you are also
interested, please do reply by Wednesday at the latest, because we
will need to book the hall.

As always, we want to know what you want - after all, the classes are
for you, and it’s much easier if you tell us than for us to guess!
Please do let us know and we’ll do our best to put on classes and
events that suit.
