reservations for July-August 2015

Hello Fleet Members,

I will be leaving to bring a boat back from Hawaii on 7/25 and don't expect to return until August 14th.  If you need to reach someone to address an issue relating to the J/22s, please contact Liz Smith (l...@sdyc.org) or Jeff Johnson (sai...@sdyc.org).  There will be three boats in the water M-F and we will try to accommodate additional reservations during the weekend, but I must ask that all weekend reservations be made by 8am on Thursdays so that we can make sure that we can cooperatively pull staff from other departments to get the boats in and out of the water.  If your reservation is not received on time, I cannot guarantee that there will be a boat available for you to use; consult the Boat Use Calendar to confirm our receipt of your request(s). 

It will also really help if everyone using a boat makes sure that all of the lines and parts stay on the boats, report missing or broken equipment, and that all of your trash and recycling is removed from the boat when you are finished using it.  We are currently missing one traveler control line, one back stay control line, and one tiller extension - so be on the lookout and post here if you get a boat with duplicate lines.  Please make sure everything makes it back into its proper stowed position when not in use so that no one has to hunt for it.
