Dear SCGIS Community!

Let's have a virtual meetup to make new connections and deepen existing ones!  Speed networking is an informal, fast-paced and fun way to build relationships in our vibrant SCGIS community.

Date:  Wednesday, December 17, 2025

Time:  12:00 PM PST / 3:00 PM EST

Get to know your community and build your network, hear about others' career paths and inspire your work, find a mentor/mentee, develop communication skills, and any other of the many peer-to-peer opportunities this gathering may offer.

A brief overview of the format:

1.  We'll start with a brief introduction to learn about SCGIS and its benefits and offerings.  

2.  We'll then spread out into a series of breakout groups where you can meet with others and introduce yourselves and discuss your shared interests and experiences.

3.  After a series of breakout groups, we'll then gather together for some final group sharing.
